Brian Eno Track on Windows XP?

Want to hear a great little Ambient Easter Egg gem? If you are working on a Windows XP computer, then there is a great ambient music gem burried deep in Windows folders.

If you want to play it, Hold the Windows Key then Hit R on your keyboard, then past this into the Run Command window.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images\title.wma

You can also click down through the Windows file menus till you find it. I imported the file into iTunes on my Dell Laptop.

Is this a Brian Eno Gem? I would bet that it is. Here is an article that mentions Brian Eno's work on the Windows 95 start up music.

Mac OS X Tiger Install Music

Apple also has some nice ambient music that plays during installing the operating system. It is also sitting on your computer and accessible for free.

To open the song, you will need to open a terminal window and type:

$ open /System/Library/CoreServices/Setup\ Assistant.app/Contents/Resources/TransitionSection.bundle/Contents/Resources/intro-sound.mp3

This site says that: The song is called Bytecry and it is by Weevil on the album Drunk On Light. But that does not sound right to me. I need to check it out.
